“It breaks my heart that I’ve been clean for six years and one month,” Dash said. “He didn’t win. He lost to that addiction devil. Please don’t lose.”
The “Single Ladies” star admitted that her social media post was “late” and said, “I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times.” It says #RIP all of a sudden.
“I had no idea he had died,” she wrote next. “He died, and I am so sad because he was such a great person.”
Fans who didn’t understand what was happening said things about Dash’s emotional video. One person joked, “This gives Clueless a whole new meaning.”

People were surprised that Dash didn’t know about the news since DMX’s death was “everywhere” last year.
The Grammy winner died at age 50 on April 9, 2021, after being left in a “vegetative state.” His family confirmed this.
