After the Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Toyota Motors is preparing to release a second anticipated vehicle this year. Toyota is selling its flagship Innova with hybrid power as part of a plan to promote cleaner mobility. According to rumours, the name of the new Toyota vehicle is Innova HyCross. Toyota has teased the revamp of the Innova’s front end. Now, the manufacturer has revealed the silhouetted profile of the Innova HyCross SUV. This means that the side panel will have strong character lines and wheel arches that stand out.
Previously, the teaser demonstrated how Toyota’s future Innova will differ drastically from the existing Innova Crysta model marketed in India. The design is clearly influenced by the design of the globally sold Toyota Corolla Cross. It has an upright hexagonal grille, elegant LED headlights with LED Daytime Running Lamps, and a hood with prominent creases to give the SUV a more imposing appearance.
Toyota Innova hybrid features
Toyota is expected to use the same Global TNGA-C platform for the future Innova that it used for the Corolla. The introduction of a hybrid drivetrain would increase the value of the MPV for both private and business owners. It is believed to be powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine linked to a hybrid or strong hybrid drivetrain similar to the one seen in the HyRder.
Multiple times in the past, the new Toyota Innova MPV has been observed undergoing testing. The spy photos did not reveal much about the forthcoming MPV other than the usage of huge alloy wheels, which are also used on the most recent Toyota vehicles. The Innova HyCross may debut this month, but its official release may not occur until later. In addition, it is anticipated that the carmaker will unveil the price officially during the next Auto Expo the following year, which will resurface after a hiatus of nearly five years.
Toyota’s future models will likely offer more amenities than the current lineup. Toyota may incorporate a new infotainment screen, a digital instrument, and possibly other features.
