After putting out a facelifted version of the Karoq earlier this year, Skoda has made several important changes to the car’s specs and trim. The Karoq is between the Kamiq and the Kodiaq for the 2023 model year. New trim levels and features have been added. Hitsbuddy has more news.
The biggest change is that instead of analogue dials, all trim levels now have a new 8-inch digital display. Skoda has also added more features to some of its packages. A new Travel Assist Package Plus is now available on the SportLine model. It has adaptive cruise control, front assist with emergency braking, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, lane assist, traffic jam assist, and a USB-C port for the rear-view mirror. The new Karoq comes with a choice of three gasoline engines and two diesel engines. There are three gasoline engines: a 1-liter TSI with 110bhp, a 1.5-liter TSI with 150bhp, and a 2-liter TSI DSG 44 with 190bhp. A 2-liter TDI with 116 or 150 bhp is part of the diesel line-up. Like the gasoline range, the higher power unit can be ordered with a seven-speed DSG. You can also get the diesel engine with four-wheel drive on the SE L and SportLine models.
