Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra, teased the upcoming XUV400 electric compact SUV in a Ganesh Chaturthi tweet. Some of the design highlights are shown in the teaser. These include a charging port inside the fuel filler flap, LED DRLs up front. A new Mahindra logo in the shape of a butterfly, and a new front grille with an “X” pattern.

The XUV400 might look very different from the XUV300, from which it was made. It will be longer than 4m. The back of the XUV400 will also be changed to fit the different sheet metal that goes past the C pillar. The XUV400 also looks like it has a new grille with decorations and an “X” pattern.

The date for the big reveal, September 8, 2022, is shown at the end of the teaser video. But based on trends in the industry and Mahindra’s past, the vehicle’s release date and the price could be announced later.
