Launch of the MediaTek Diminuency 1050, 144Hz display Moto Edge (2022)

Moto Edge 2022, the brand’s newest premium mid-range phone, has been released in the US. It is the first phone in the world to have the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset. Which ibuilt on a 6nm processor and should give a top-notch performance. The Moto Edge 2022 has a 91.32 percent screen-to-body ratio, runs on Android 12 OS. The company promises three years of OS upgrades and four years of bi-monthly security updates. It has a hole in the front for the selfie camera, three cameras. A fingerprint sensor built into the screen.

Key features include a 6.6-inch screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 50MP main camera on the back. A 32MP front-facing camera, a 5000mAh battery, 30W fast charging, and 256GB of internal storage.

The Motorola Edge (2022) costs $498, which is about Rs 39,800, and it comes in Mineral Grey. You can get it for free when you add a line for a limited time. T-Mobile will sell it in the next few weeks.

There will also be an AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum Mobile, US Cellular, and Visible version of the Moto Edge in 2022. It also be available at the launch price of $499.99 on the BestBuy, Amazon, and Motorola websites. Where it unlocked for all networks (approx Rs 39,900).

The Moto Edge (2022) has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, HDR10+, and 10-bit colour space. The phone run by a MediaTek Dimensity 1050 6nm processor, and an ARM Mali-G610 MC3 GPU does the graphics. The chipset comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, which may not be expandable.

It comes with stereo speakers, a fingerprint sensor built into the screen, 3 microphones, and a splash-proof IP52 rating. Moto runs on the Android 12 OS and has a custom skin called MyUX. It is 160.86 mm by 74.24 mm by 7.99 mm and weighs 170 g. 5G sub-6 + mmWave, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC are all ways to connect.

In terms of optics, the Moto Edge (2022) has three cameras on the back: a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, Quad Pixel Technology, OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro mode and f/1.5 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats on the front.

It has a 5000mAh battery and can be charged quickly with 30W TurboPower, wirelessly with 15W, and backwards with 5W.
