Even though summer is almost over, Motorola, which is owned by Lenovo, has already had a very productive year. The company has been firing on all cylinders for a while now, and 2022 should be one of its busiest years in terms of range. The Motorola Moto G72, one of the company’s last mid-range phones, is about to launch in a week. We first saw it in a roadmap as “Victoria,” but now we know its full design and specs. Follow hitsbuddy for latest news.
The Motorola Moto G72 has a 6.6-inch screen with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400) and an HDR10+-certified pOLED display that can refresh at 120Hz. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 that runs at 2.0GHz. Other certifications include Dolby Atmos and IP52 water protection, which means that it doesn’t let water in but doesn’t keep it out either.
Also inside is either 6GB or 8GB of DDR4x RAM, 128GB of storage, and a powerful 5000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 30 watts. It has a fingerprint sensor under the screen, which is a bit different for Motorola, which has been putting them under the power button for most of its recent mid-range phones.
Expect a 108-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. There will also be a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. It will already have Android 12 on it.
