There are some changes to the SUV’s interior. The interior of the WR-V has leather seats with red stitching and two-tone colour schemes. It has a digital infotainment screen and a 4.2-inch semi-digital TFT driver display in the middle console. The trunk space is now 380 litres, which is 17 litres more than the WR-V SUV made for India. The Japanese carmaker has also added seats that can be split in half (60:40) to make the trunk bigger.
In terms of engines, the Honda SUV comes with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine. The engine can produce a maximum of 121 PS of power and a maximum of 145 Nm of torque. It has about 30 PS more power and 35 Nm more torque than the model made for India. The engine is paired with a CVT transmission, which is an interesting choice.
The new Honda WR-V comes with a remote that can be used to lock or unlock the car without using the key. It also has an auto-cooling feature that works when the SUV is started from a distance.
The car company is looking into the possibility of putting out the new WR-V in India. If the SUV comes out, it will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the Tata Nexon, and the Hyundai Venue.
