A first responder at the scene who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that Forbes was shot while standing on the sidewalk when shots were fired around 22:00.
Robert Netshiunda, a spokesman for the KwaZulu-Natal police, told News24 that a “well-known rapper” was shot and killed on Florida Road in Durban just after 22:00 on Friday night.
