5,000 Volkswagen Virtus cars were sold in just two months.

Volkswagen Virtus Cars India released the Virtus mid-size sedan in India about two months ago. The starting price was Rs 11.22 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the car company says that more than 5,000 sedans have been sold in the last two months.

The Skoda Slavia and the Virtus are related by DNA, and they both use the same MQB A0 IN platform. It comes in Comfortline, Highline, Topline, and GT Plus versions. Also, customers can choose from seven exterior colours: Rising Blue, Curcuma Yellow, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Wild Cherry Red, and Reflex Silver.

LED headlights, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, cooled front seats, an electric sunroof, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, six airbags, and a rearview camera are some of the highlights of the Virtus’s features.

The Volkswagen Virtus is a sedan that only runs on gasoline, and there are two gasoline-powered powertrains to choose from. The first is a TSI engine with a 1.0-liter displacement and 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. This comes with both a manual transmission with six speeds and an automatic transmission with six speeds. The second gasoline engine is a powerful 1.5-liter unit that uses technology called “active cylinders.” It’s tuned to make 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. you can only get it with a DCT with seven speeds.
